Villa M is a spacious house where I calculated every square meter to maximize usable space. It’s designed as a type house for clients who want quality and character without luxury pricing—accessible, thoughtful architecture. I worked with local materials—wood and stone. The house sits wrapped in a continuous terrace that acts as a climate buffer against wind and weather. Deep roof overhangs do double duty: they shield the walls and windows from rain while the integrated brise-soleil screens provide privacy without closing off the light. These moves create a strong visual identity and improve energy performance at the same time. The result is a house with protected privacy but generous daylight—bold form balanced with quiet, practical performance. I focused on making every design decision count: simple gestures that work hard for how people actually live.
